Some lost words, regained

City moves fast and grows even faster,

One has to keep up to its pace to live its expectations,

There is a constant competition to be better each time

You step in to this world,

Why can’t there be a meaningless walk

Rather than a run for the race,

Why can’t I just speak meaninglessly

Throughout the day.

What is the urgency to present yourself

Why can’t I wear mud as a make up

I don’t wish to look perfect every time.

I move faster for anyone to catch me

And I stand still where no one finds me

Can I be the woman of the words who wants to construct words now and eventually a sky soaring skyscraper.

It will be as sound as it looks and as strong as it sounds.
